Global recognition of whisky BLACK RAM BOURBON FINISH

The golden medal of the prestigious competition The World Whisky Masters placed Black Ram among the best whiskeys in the world

 

The best selling whisky brand in Bulgaria - Black Ram, won a golden medal at the prestigious competition The World Whisky Masters in United Kingdom. The competition, better known as The World Whiskey Championship, awarded the highest prize the new addition to the family - Black Ram Bourbon Finish, which was placed among the best whiskies in the world. Black Ram is the only whisky from Bulgaria awarded with such a high distinction.

Only after an year since its placement on the market, the Bulgarian whisky was awarded in the category of “European Whisky” due to the remarkable combination of “spicy wood notes and sweet nuts”. Black Ram Bourbon Finish ages for at least three years in high quality American oak barrels, in which bourbon was aged. The aging technology provides it with unique aroma and the drink is distinguished with rich yellow-gold colour and balanced soft taste with notes of vanilla.

World Whisky Masters is part of the internationally recognized competitions of The Global Spirit Business Masters, organized by the most respected magazine in the sector The Spirits Business. All tasting samples in the competition are tasted blindly by leading world appraisers, distributors, journalists and market specialists. 

The experts are seeing extremely strong global interest towards European whisky brands, manufactured in regions outside of the traditional Scotland, Ireland and USA. The European whisky has its own unique style, offers the same high quality, but at a competitive price.
